Midnet received two series of the new Den Oudsten B93 articulated low-floor city bus in 1998, for its city bus services in Almere, a satellite town of Amsterdam recently built on reclaimed land. The bus services here are mainly on reserved bus lanes. Midnet specified a somewhat different front end design for these high profile buses. They passed to Connexxion when Midnet was absorbed into this new company in May 1999.
