Later DAF SB220-Den Oudsten Alliance B89 lacked the profiled skirts. This special version was the Interliner, eight of which were built for Hermes and ZO one month before these companies merged to become Hermes. The Interliners are luxury buses with a special interior and livery. They also have only a narrow central exit door. Shown are a Hermes Interliner in Gulpen, on its way from Maastricht to Aachen in Germany.
